Default Is there any mortgage brokers or bankers that

will provide training for Loan Processing? I want to get into the mortgage business. I have Point software (5.3) and have been working with it daily. I don't know any mortgage brokers or bankers that will take anyone without experience. Is it possible to find one in the Keller/Wautaga Texas area?I am a project manager for an HVAC company now, so working on job files are not new to me. Obviously, there will be some differences, but not anything that can't be answered and verified before any problems arise.I would love to find someone who would be willing to work with me even part time (evenings and weekends) until I get the process down. I will do what ever is needed to get the knowledge in the industry.Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!!! I would love to move to MN.... with the sun shining 365 days a year and only 5' of snow each day... hehehe too bad all my family lives down here. Is there anything that you can send me that would help me expand my knowledge? I have downloaded the user guide for point 5.3 and have been reading like a mad man. I have been trying to find blogs and other sites that talk about the industry. I would like to know how to order the title(s), asset verification, more info on the 1008/1003, preliminary title report(s), escrow instructions, appraisals, purchase agreement, disclosures, GFE, TIL statement, LOEs, etc... I pulled a worksheet of the net that said every loan would need most of those items listed... but I have no idea what to do with them and where to get them. Thanks for all your help!!!Dave

Many mortgage companies/brokers/wholesalers will train you to process loans. Ordering title is just calling the attorney, asset verification is getting copies of the asset;(bank,401k or whatever statements),the 1003 (universal residential loan app) comes from the loan officer, prelim title and escrow instructions come from the atty, appraisal is another call to order then read it to ensure no snafu's, purchase agreement comes from the realtor, gfe,til etc are all generated from the numbers you put in and must be sent to the customer immediately. Hope this is some help!!
