...help!!!!? I have been self employed for nearly 2 years and need a self cert mortgage.I have quite a bit of equity in the house that I am selling so would be able to put down about 40% deposit on it.However I as I have not had this type of mortgage before am a bit confused.I have no books to show and no proof of earnings.Can anyone give me a few basics on what I will need to do to get this mortgage and what multiples of income lenders tend to give you for them.Sorry to sound thick - any advice would be greatConchita

What about your tax returns? Or bank statements? Any loan officers out there? Not sure if there are even "stated income" loans anymore?
