...refinance with in california? I am interested in refinancing my current loan to a fixed rate 30-yr loan. I'd prefer to deal with a lender that is in california. any recommendations? i'd like to hear about your personal experience with the company recommended. thanks!

I would highly recommend Ditech.com. They're out of California but you access them through their website. We had a perfectly wonderful refi with them that went very quickly and without any unpleasant surprises.

I would highly recommend Brian Brady at World Wide Credit Corp. If you google his name you will have plenty of reading material. I have worked with Brian in the past and I myself have been in the mortgage industry for over 10 years. Let him know Lisa Jordan referred you if you decide to call him.
