Default Mortgage bailout help/Countrywide loan modification?

Where can go online to find out how to qualify for this new program the prez signed? I lost my job in jan. and the other person who is on the house payment is retired and we are struggling to make the payment. We have a countrywide mortgage and have never missed a payment but we are close to being underwater. Any help or suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks!

Our family was in the same situation with Countrywide as our lender. I am sorry to tell you that you should find a reputable attorney who is experienced with loan modifications or file a Ch 13 Bk do not try to do this on your own. That is what we had to do, Countrywide said they would modify our loan and then our attorney had to meet them at the courthouse to stop the auction of our home. My mom and several neighbors and friends have gone through the same thing with the same lender. Maybe they have good intentions of helping you but there are so many people who need help right now that they can't keep their records straight. Good luck to you.

Default Countrywide Loan Modification Help

Attorneys charge too much and can not do anything you or a loss mitigation can do for you at a fraction of the price. We have and are helping many homeowners that are facing foreclosure stop the sale and get the loan modified.
