What is Trial Loan Modification from Chase?
My Bank/Lender was WaMu, now Chase, I applied for loan modification and they put me on Forbearance Program, asked my to make $100/mo payment for 3 months, and after 3 months they further extend my Forbearance up till now i.e 9 months. I have made all payments on time. Now they gave me a new agreement, calling it "Trial Period". They mentioned that Washington is reviewing my documents. I am wondering now where is this thing going to lead me to. Will I get my loan modified? My hardship is unemployment, and low on savings. Trying to survive on unemployment benefits, with my wife part time job reduced to 10hrs a week and $10/Hr. Does anyone know what is going on or what to expect out of this.?

based on the information provided it is impossible to determine. HAMP is based on gross and traditional mod takes expenses into account.
