I received a loan Modification from Chase bank back in May of this year and we have been paying and following the guidelines of the loan modification agreement since May. We have been sending in our payments certified mail and despite our best efforts Chase has been applying our payments to a suspense account and the stating that we have not paid them. Every month we have to get on the phone and straighten this out. We have not received a statement on our 1st and on our 2nd we receive statements but the Principal balance seems to go up and down every month even though we are current on both loans. Moreover, we are now getting calls from Chases Foreclosure department stating that we are going to be foreclosed upon. Chase doesn't seem to want to fix the problem and I do not know what else to do. I can not afford to hire a attorney and I do not want to lose my home. Can anyone help?
