foreclosure help in Wyoming
County: Uinta
I had a knee replacement in Feb. I did not have enough vacation and sick time at my job to cover the time off I needed. I applied for a hardship with my mortgage co. they lowered my payment 100.00. Not nearly enough for me to pay the payments. I stopped paying anything because I didn't have the money to pay it at all. The payments were set while I was married and had two incomes. I was able to make the payments until the knee replacement. My situation has gotten worse. I was unable to continue working at the Wyoming State Hospital due to the pain of the new knee and the risk it was working there out weighed the benefits. I told my mortgage co this and they offered no solutions and would not work with me on the monthly payments. I subsequently moved from the home to give it a chance to sell to avoid foreclosure. The home has not sold and it is now in foreclosure. If I could refinance the mortgage to a lower payment that I can make I would take possesion of the home again.
