Loan Modification Option One
I am not with Option One, but with America's Service Co. But I think all would apply no matter what mortgage com.
I wrote a hardship letter asking for a loan modification. I made up my own financial statement. You need to show Income and expenses and your mortgage payment. (I did my own because I never could get the package from them. so rather than keep waiting, I made one and faxed that over. So they would already have it, and they took the information over the phone also. But have all this on paper before you call and have the budget worked out so you can give them correct information. At first I was not aware of that, and when they started asking me questions about my income and expenses there were things from memory I could not remember and forgot to include, so they may come up that way that you have plenty of money to pay. You probably need to show a small suplus maybe $150.00 left over a month. If you come up negitave, I have read on this site, they may not approve you.
That way you will have already applied for a loan modification and faxed the paper work over to them and they will get it into the computer as soon as they receive that. Then when you do get the package, you can go over it and make sure everything is correct and change what needs to be changed and fax that to them also. Fax is faster and less chance of them loosing it I think. Then call them in about 2 days and make sure they received the information. That is what I have done so far when working on my loan modification. They have mine in the system now at America's Service Co now and I sure hope I can get a modification.
