Default received a demand letter

Ok, stop trying to scare people. You are right foreclosure is not filed or a demand letter is not sent until 90 days past due. At which point the mortgage company will not allow payments. During the demand period the case has not been referred to loss mitigation. Unless you know what you are doing the only options are repayment plan or reinstatement with the collection department.
